Rg Consultancy is assisting a growing business in recruiting an experienced Management Accountant. The role focuses on day-to-day financial management and leading a major ERP implementation project to enhance reporting and controls.

The successful candidate will deliver monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while partnering with senior management to drive efficiencies and maintain data integrity during change.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in ERP implementation or finance transformation projects.
• Experience managing finance processes during periods of business change.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce monthly management accounts.

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing medium turnover business seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the business while also supporting a significant programme of change, including system improvements and ERP implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controls.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Producing financial reports and providing meaningful insight to senior management.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external auditors.
• Managing and improving financial processes, controls and reporting.Business partnering with operational managers and directors.
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives and driving efficiencies across the finance function.
• Assisting with ERP implementation, system migration or finance system upgrades.
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout periods of organisational change.

You will ideally possess:

• Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Previous involvement in ERP system implementation, finance transformation projects, or major system migrations.
• Experience managing finance processes during periods of business change.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using modern ERP or accounting systems.
