Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team and support the Finance Director in driving financial efficiency and strategic decision-making.

You will manage accounts payable, run weekly multi-currency payments, prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and cost-control initiatives. Payroll backup support is also provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent) with 3+ years of management accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll processes preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills are essential.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and proactive cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Director in overall management of the finance department.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Provide insights on property and overhead costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist with year-end audit and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
• Support renewal of maintenance and energy contracts.
• Provide backup support to payroll department as needed.

If so, this newly created Management Accountant position is for you, as you will join a dynamic finance team and work closely with the Finance Director to support continued growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function, including:

• Supporting the Finance Director in the overall management of the finance department.

• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

• Supporting the renewal of maintenance and energy contracts.
• Offering backup support to the payroll department as needed.

Key Requirements

• A qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent), with 3+ years of management accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll processes is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to cost control, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Confidence in solving complex problems with a logical mindset.
