Job summary

Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to prepare management accounts for a diverse client portfolio in entertainment, film, and sport. You’ll oversee junior work, ensure accuracy, and contribute to the growth of a specialist business management team.

Qualifications

Key duties:

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for a varied portfolio of clients
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Review bookkeeping work, ensuring accuracy and high standards
• Work closely with client managers to understand client requirements, deliver timely, accurate financial information and identify opportunities to provide additional client support
• Support the training, development and mentoring of junior team members.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience preparing management accounts within an accountancy practice
• Confident preparing VAT returns and reviewing bookkeeping and VAT work
• Qualified by experience or qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification, ACCA / ICAEW, ACA or equivalent
• Familiar with accounting software packages such as Xero, Iris or similar
• Organised, approachable and keen to develop within a growing team.
