Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd in Blyth is seeking a Management Accountant to lead the financial reporting for a dedicated business entity, report directly to the Group Financial Controller, and oversee month-end close, reconciliations and KPI reporting.

You will be the key finance contact for the division, and the role requires qualified or studying accountants with strong Excel and a deadline-driven mindset. Hybrid working and study support are on offer along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA) or studying towards qualification.
• Relevant management accounting experience within a similar environment.
• Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail.
• Organised, deadline-driven and confident working with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• To manage the month end accounts production & reporting cycle of company including the preparation and posting of monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals.
• Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Preparation of monthly Flash reports and weekly KPIs ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Management of accounts payable including sign-off of proposed payment runs
• Management of accounts receivable including identifying any risk receivables
• Perform quarterly VAT reporting and audit deliverables, liaising closely with external advisors

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a business in Blyth on the appointment of a Management Accountant. This is a highly visible role where you'll lead the financial reporting for a dedicated business entity, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and acting as the key finance contact for the division.
