Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Managed Print Services) to implement, administer and continually improve the organisation's print infrastructure across sites. The role requires handling print servers, queues and secure printing, ensuring availability and alignment with standards.

The post involves incident support, service improvement initiatives, supplier liaison and occasional on-call duties within the NHSL environment. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must have degree level education in a relevant IT discipline and experience in desktop related support.
• Preferably additional technical training and certification in relevant skills/products.
• Experience in a health service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, advice and support to NHSL employees and approved contractors to maximise use of IT desktop infrastructure.
• Manage IT Service Desk calls prioritising allocated work to meet department SLA’s.
• Maintain high standard of customer service and manage expectations to resolve incidents.
• Deal effectively with user complaints and escalate to line management where appropriate.
