Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers for night-tramping work. Shifts start and finish in Warrington with deliveries across the UK. You must hold a Class 1 licence, Digital Tachograph and a valid CPC, and have the right to work in the UK.

We offer a supportive team, flexible hours and a weekly bonus on top of salary. Benefits include pension, 20 days of holidays plus bank holidays, on-site parking, and no loading/unloading obligation.

Responsibilities

• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading.

VALID CLASS 1 (C+E) DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED - TRAMPING (NIGHTS)

This role is based in Warrington, this is where your shift will start and finish.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph
• Full CPC qualification
• Must be able to pass a CRB background check
• Must be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work evening shifts
• Must have right to work in the U.K
• Must have good working knowledge of EU drivers’ hours and regulations
• Your driver’s licence MUST have NO more than 3pts & NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR

WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers from pick up to destination
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only
