Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner to join our Mammography team. You will perform routine radiographic examinations under supervision, operate the NBSS and RIS systems, and assist at breast screening clinics.

The role offers part-time 30 hours with progression to Band 4 after successful induction and the TAP programme, within a busy, supportive environment that values patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Requires working under supervision of a senior radiographer.
• Operates NBSS and RIS imaging systems.
• Promotes high quality breast screening service.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine radiographic examinations under supervision.
• Assist at breast screening clinics and one-stop clinics.
• Participate in clinical audits and surveys.
• Support flexible working and service delivery improvements.
