Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a proactive Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment at Princess Square, Glasgow. The successful candidate will prioritise customer service while patrolling the mall, handling emergencies, and supervising contractors to ensure safe practices.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting regular patrols, and contributing to health & safety objectives. A valid SIA licence (CCTV/DS or SG) is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA/Door Supervisor licence with CCTV where applicable.
• Demonstrates strong customer care and communication abilities.
• Experience in loss prevention and health & safety is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry periodic duties as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions.
• Be present on the mall to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained.
• Conduct patrols covering all areas of the mall and service areas.
• Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden.
• Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices.
