Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Male Teaching Assistant in Northampton to support children and young people with additional needs. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, helping with daily routines and pastoral care.

You will work closely with teachers to assist with behavioural and emotional regulation and provide classroom support in a busy school environment. DBS checks are welcomed, and the agency offers ongoing guidance throughout placements.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in school, care, SEN, or similar.
  • Patient, resilient and supportive by nature.
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities
