Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Male* Support Worker in Flintshire to help people gain independence in daily living and enjoy meaningful activities. The role involves assisting with personal care, supporting community access, and taking part in outings and leisure activities within a supportive team.

Typical shifts are varied long days with sleep-ins. Candidates should have a full UK manual driving licence and experience with Positive Behaviour Support. DBS checks and references apply.

Qualifications

Must hold a full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 12 months).
Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, and trauma.

Responsibilities

Help people gain more independence in daily living and participate in activities.
Assist with personal care and social activities.
Support with local community outings, bars/pubs, cinema and other recreation.
