Job summary

Voyage Care in Flintshire is seeking a Male* Support Worker to help people gain independence and improve daily living skills within a supportive team. You will assist with personal care, encourage community involvement, and share in activities from outings to nights in with the group.

The role requires a full UK manual driving license (minimum 12 months) and experience with Positive Behaviour Support, reflective practice, and supporting individuals with enhanced needs including mental health,

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK manual driving license (for over 12 months).
• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, and people who have experienced trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Teach life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage access to local communities, socialising and activities.
• Participate in outings to bars, pubs, cinemas and other activities.
