Job Title: Male Support Worker

Location: Dawlish

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Relief

Salary: £12.33 per hour

Additional Information: Full UK driving licence is essential.

At Thera South West, every day is different. We support individuals to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Dawlish.

This role involves supporting a young man with autism in his own home, helping him achieve objectives and providing complex support within a 24-hour supported living setting. You will be part of an inclusive team that creates innovative ways to support people, including community access, daily living, and wellbeing activities.

The role includes engaging in activities like swimming, cycling, cinema visits, sailing, gardening, and sourcing new activities. Supporting families and maintaining good relationships is also key. If you are caring, committed, and compassionate, we would love to hear from you. Full training, induction, and shadowing are paid. The role involves working weekends and paid sleep-ins on a rota system.

  • No previous experience or qualifications required. Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided.
