Swanton Community Services is seeking a Male Specialist Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to a person in their own home. The role is full-time in TS20, with permanent contracts and no sponsorship offered.

You will need to be adaptable, have excellent communication skills, and be prepared to work as part of a team while following care plans and safeguarding guidelines. A full UK driving licence is required and the ideal candidate will have some experience with challenging

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different situations and people.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive the supported person’s vehicle.
• Experience with challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to empower the person to achieve goals with dignity.
• Promote health, well-being and inclusion in everyday activities.
