Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Male Senior Support Worker for Howells Road in Swansea to oversee day-to-day support for two adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role involves managing a team, ensuring high standards of care, and coordinating with health professionals and families.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Support Workers.
• Provide high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans.
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities.
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans.
• Liaise with health professionals and their families.
• Complete supervisions and audits.
• Ensure duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and contribute to a positive, homely atmosphere.

Package Description JOB ROLE: Male Senior Support Worker LOCATION : Swansea SA2 7SX SALARY : £14.45 - £15.05 per hour HOURS: 35 a week REQUIREMENTS: NVQ / QCF L3 in Health & Social Care. Please note we require a Male Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

About Howells Road

• Howells Road is a detached bungalow in Dunvant, Swansea, providing residential care for two adults with learning disabilities and autism. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Managing a team of Support Workers Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans Liaise with health professionals and their families Complete supervisions and audits To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
