Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to join our team and support students with autism, dyslexia and other learning needs. You will tailor lessons to individual learning styles, plan and deliver engaging sessions, and help raise pupil confidence.

The ideal candidate will have QTS/PGCE or SEN qualification and demonstrate compassionate, patient dedication to student success in a personalised teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success

Responsibilities

• Planning lessons and resources around the student's needs, core subjects or life skills
• Plan and deliver engaging sessions
• Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence
• Manage children with challenging behaviour
• Learn visuals to communicate in some cases
