Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to join our team and support students with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and other SEN needs across the East Midlands.

We offer flexible hours, competitive rates and the option for both in-person and online tutoring. You will plan engaging lessons, track progress, and adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles while maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching students with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, or other SEN needs.
• Qualified teacher with QTS, PGCE, or SEN-specific credentials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles and needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and resources around individual student needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions.
• Track progress and provide monthly reports.
• Manage behaviours and support positive learning environments.
• Potentially run outdoor activities and use visuals for communication.

Seeking Passionate and Skilled SEN Tutors!

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. If you're passionate about helping children with unique learning needs and thrive in a personalised teaching environment, we want to hear from you!

Ideal Candidates:

• Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
• Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)

This tutor role involves:

• planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
• plan and deliver engaging sessions.
• apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
• manage children with challenging behaviour.
• track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
• potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
• learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
