Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking Bank Support Workers to cover shifts across Wales, with a driver required due to location. You will provide person-centred support at home and in the community to help one individual live life to the fullest after stroke-related visual impairment.

The role is on a zero-hours basis with flexible shifts, offering up to £14 per hour depending on NVQ qualification, a paid DBS check, and access to top-tier training, regular rotas, holiday pay, and Nest pension.

Bank Support Workers (Must be driver due to location) – Flexible Cover Role £100 Welcome Bonus + Up to £14/hr Contract: Bank / zero-hours – providing cover for sickness, annual leave, and service needs as required. One day you could be supporting at MMA training, the next exploring the Welsh countryside with three energetic dogs or heading out on spontaneous adventures.

Shift Pattern: 11am – 5pm shifts Day shifts Bank cover for sickness, annual leave and service needs as required.

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero‑hours contract.
