Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Bank Support Worker (drivers preferred) for flexible shifts in South Wales, including Swansea and Burry Port. You will support clients in their homes, covering sickness and annual leave across packages, with day and night shifts available.

The role offers zero-hours contracts, training, and pension benefits, with a focus on high-quality, person-centered care. Driving is preferred to enable travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving licence.
• Experience in care or support roles is preferred.
• Willing to travel across Swansea & Burry Port.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their own homes.
• Support with medication administration and safety procedures.
• Move and handle clients, manage equipment, and cover shifts as needed.

Are you a compassionate and reliable support worker with a full driving licence, looking for a flexible bank role ? Join Active Care Group , a leading provider of specialist care, and support our North Wales teams by providing essential cover during staff sickness and annual leave .

This role is ideal for those seeking ad-hoc or flexible work , alongside other commitments. This is not a domiciliary care role .

You will be part of a specialist team delivering one-to-one support to clients with complex needs, including spinal injuries, brain injuries, epilepsy, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities.

When you'll work:

• Day and night shifts available
• Bank shifts offered as required to cover sickness and annual leave across 2 of our south Wales packages
• Flexible scheduling based on service need and your availability

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting clients in their own homes with: Personal care Medication administration Moving and handling Managing clinical equipment Shopping Providing short-term and ongoing cover within existing care packages, and supporting new packages when needed
