Your World Nursing is seeking a Scrub Nurse for a locum assignment in Bradford. You will ensure a sterile environment, prepare and maintain surgical instruments, and support the surgical team during procedures.

The role runs 03/11/2026 to 11/12/2026 with pay £23.50–£27.00 per hour, PAYE, and a fast-track registration. NMC registration and UK experience are required, with travel and accommodation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a UK healthcare setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• UK references from previous employers or supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Maintain sterile environment by preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and the operating room.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Follow aseptic techniques and support overall OR safety and efficiency.

As a Scrub Nurse, your primary responsibilities include ensuring a sterile environment by preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and the operating room itself, and assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical assistants during procedures. You'll meticulously follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections and complications and collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate their needs and help maintain the safety and efficiency of the operating room, contributing significantly to the success of surgical interventions.
