Job summary

Your World Nursing is seeking a locum nurse in Liverpool to assist patients with daily living, mobility, vital signs, and basic care. The role requires NMC registration and 6 months’ UK ward experience.

You will support patient comfort, documentation, and care coordination, with PAYE payroll and dedicated recruitment consultant support. This position offers flexible scheduling, travel/accommodation assistance, and access to Your Loyalty rewards.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a UK hospital ward.
• Right to work in the UK and UK references.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Aid in patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Help maintain a clean and organised patient environment, including changing linens and tidying rooms
• Provide emotional support to patients and families, offering companionship and empathy
• Assist with basic medical procedures, such as wound dressing changes and catheter care
• Transport patients within the facility for tests, procedures, or appointments
• Document patient information and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient healthcare operations
