Job summary

Your World is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse (Band 6) in Bristol for a temporary locum placement from 16/11/2026 to 12/12/2026. You will lead chemotherapy administration, ensuring high-standard, patient-centred care in a busy oncology department.

Required: UK nursing degree, current NMC registration, and at least 12 months’ oncology/acute care experience. Right to work in the UK and two professional references are essential.

• Experience: Minimum 12 months of experience within a UK healthcare setting, specifically within oncology or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Delivery: Administer chemotherapy and specialist treatments while monitoring for side effects and managing acute symptoms to maximise patient comfort.
• Technical Excellence: Maintain mastery over oncology-specific protocols and equipment, ensuring safe delivery of complex medication regimes.
• Quality & Compliance: Uphold NMC guidelines and Trust safety standards, ensuring patient records and treatment plans meet national benchmarks.
