Job summary

Equans is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Water) for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves performing preventive and reactive maintenance on hospital water systems, including TMV servicing, water tanks, CLO2 units and temperature checks.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ/C&G Level 2/3 in Heating/Vent/Plumbing, water hygiene knowledge, and be able to pass a DBS check. The role offers career development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ or C&G Level 2 Heating/Vent/Plumbing certification or equivalent.
• NVQ or C&G Level 3 Heating/Vent/Plumbing certification or equivalent (Desirable).
• Water Hygiene Qualification (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Undertake water system planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance and other maintenance activities.
• Complete maintenance and reactive tasks (TMV Servicing, Water Tanks, CLO2 Units, Showers, Water Plants, Temperature Checks).
• Interpret drawings and specifications for own trade, with minimal supervision.
