Job summary

SG Personnel Ltd are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing company in Cramlington for a Semi Skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis. The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and improving machine reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours are 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with a salary of £30,000 per year. The successful candidate will work across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and basic electrical tasks, contributing to continuous

Qualifications

• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Fault finding and root cause analysis experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with gears, bearings, chains, sprockets and conveyors.
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, MMA).
• Machinery installation, refurbishment and modification.
• Continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• CNC setting and operating.
• Basic electrical maintenance including sensors and motor replacement.
• Strong health and safety awareness in production environments.
