Job summary

Amega Sciences Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of our production facilities across Daventry and Lawford Heath. You will join a small, collaborative maintenance team ensuring equipment reliability and site performance.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, liaise with contractors, and support improvement projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and site equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform fault finding and repairs.
• Maintain pumps, motors, pneumatics, conveyors, pipework or processing equipment.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance work within your level of competence.
• Support site improvement and capital investment projects.
• Liaise with external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
