Job summary

McDonald’s United Kingdom is looking for a Maintenance Person to keep the restaurant clean, safe and well-maintained, ensuring a great customer experience. You will perform a range of upkeep tasks and coordinate with managers and contractors to minimise disruption.

Role requires availability across weekdays and weekends, including early mornings and afternoons, and is based at the Newton Abbot site with full training provided to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior and exterior to ensure cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Carry out maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, varnishing and minor repairs.
• Maintain and monitor parking facilities for a safe welcoming environment.
• Receive, organise and rotate food deliveries to support freshness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with external contractors for timely repairs with minimal disruption.
• Keep equipment and facilities in prime working condition.
• Complete tasks in line with training and company guidelines.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Treat customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
• Work as a supportive team member to contribute to a positive environment.
