Job summary

McDonald’s United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep the restaurant clean, safe and well-maintained, enabling a consistently great customer experience.

You’ll perform a range of repairs, coordinate with managers and external contractors, and support the team with a positive, safety-conscious approach. No experience is necessary as full training is provided. Shifts cover weekdays and weekends, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior and exterior to ensure all areas meet McDonald’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Carry out maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, varnishing, and minor non-electrical equipment repairs.
• Maintain and monitor parking facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and crew.
• Organise, receive, and rotate food deliveries to support freshness and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely repairs with minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
• Support the overall functionality of the restaurant by keeping equipment and facilities in prime working condition.
• Completing tasks in line with training and company guidelines.
• Following all workplace safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Treating customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
• Working as a supportive team member and contributing to a positive environment.
