Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover at Hams Hall seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Battery Assembly Centre operations. You will join a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring asset reliability and continuous production with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and contribute to Kaizen activities alongside production teams. NVQ3 apprenticeship and rotation shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering maintenance discipline.
• High standards of electrical and mechanical understanding and competencies.
• Expertise in fault diagnosis and rectification processes within an industrial maintenance team.
• Ability to identify root causes of failures in reactive maintenance and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Able to work a rotational shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient production within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment framework.
• Perform detailed preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to schedules.
• Diagnose faults and rectify issues on all plant and equipment.
• Identify root causes of asset faults and improve asset performance.
• Provide fast response to plant breakdowns while following company procedures and standards.
• Provide process knowledge and guidance for Kaizen activities with production and maintenance teams.
