Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover seeks a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance across Mod4 machining operations, ensuring asset reliability and long-term performance. You’ll work with maintenance, operational and digital teams to shape strategies for future manufacturing operations.

You’ll manage CMMS and SAP EAM systems, develop preventive maintenance plans, analyse performance data and implement improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance programmes and schedules.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP EAM systems.
• Analytical problem solving and RCA techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance activities contributing to safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environment.
• Manage CMMS and SAP EAM systems including preventive plans and asset data.
• Develop maintenance schedules and work instructions for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Analyse equipment data to improve availability and performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operational and digital teams on CI initiatives.
• Build stakeholder relationships and support planning and reporting with MS Office tools.

Job description

You'll support the delivery of maintenance activities across Mod4 machining operations, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency and long-term asset performance. Working closely with maintenance teams, operational stakeholders and digital functions, you'll help shape maintenance strategies that support the future of our manufacturing operations. Here's what to expect:

• Supporting maintenance activities that contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environmental objectives
• Managing CMMS and SAP EAM systems, including preventive maintenance plans, asset data, equipment structures and performance reporting
• Developing maintenance schedules, work instructions and planning activities to support preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes
• Analysing equipment performance data and applying reliability, maintainability and FMEA methodologies to improve asset availability and operational performance
• Collaborating with maintenance, operational and digital teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of SAP EAM capabilities Holding a Government Approved Apprenticeship, Craftsman Certificate, Level 3 BTEC, NVQ, OCR Cambridge Nationals or National Diploma in electrical, mechanical or general engineering maintenance
• Demonstrating experience delivering performance measures within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Using CMMS systems and managing preventive maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Applying problem-solving, root cause analysis and analytical techniques to identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Building effective stakeholder relationships while using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project, to support planning and reporting activities In the Manufacturing team at JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you'll help power iconic electric cars.
