Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover at Hams Hall is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of manufacturing assets, diagnose faults, and implement permanent fixes while supporting Kaizen initiatives with integrated teams.

The role requires an apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in engineering maintenance or equivalent.
• Electrical and mechanical competency.
• Experience with fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient production within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment framework.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per schedules.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification on all plant and equipment in the facility.
• Identify root causes of asset faults and improve performance and reliability.
• Provide fast response to breakdowns while following company procedures.
• Support Kaizen activities with production and maintenance teams.
