Kingsley Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep the home’s premises and grounds in top condition. You will perform regular checks, carry out repairs, and liaise with engineers or service agents to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Reports to the Home Manager/Asset Manager. The role requires attention to detail, health and safety adherence, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team in a care home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing programs.
• Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
• D1 driving licence is essential.
