Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep the home premises and grounds in excellent condition. You will perform regular checks, repairs, and liaise with engineers when needed to ensure resident safety.

You will conduct fire, basic electrical, and appliance checks while supporting a friendly team focused on high-quality care and smooth daily operations for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing programs.
• Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
• D1 driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular checks on premises and grounds and perform repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with engineers or service agents when required.
• Perform fire, basic electrical and appliance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Promote residents' well-being and support smooth running of the home.
