NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a skilled Estates Technician to maintain building services, plant and equipment across NHS sites in Lanarkshire. You will diagnose faults, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and document work to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires an apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical bias, an HNC or equivalent, and a valid UK driving license. Day and back shifts form the pattern, with a focus on delivering high standards of service.

Formación

• Experience in estates service environments and relevant maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance processes.
• Understanding of current statutory legislative requirements for building services.
• A valid full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain NHS Lanarkshire building services, plant and equipment to high standards.
• Diagnose, report and repair faults in electrical, mechanical and building services; ensure compliance.
• Plan day-to-day workload and material management; complete required records and documentation.
• Provide technical expertise to operate safe and efficient systems of work for building services.
