Job summary

Talent Solutions RPO in West Bromwich is seeking a Maintenance Technician (MTAMB) for PM shift at a UK food production facility. The role focuses on planned maintenance with opportunities to work on rollers, gearboxes and motors, and to upskill across mechanical and electrical areas.

The position offers a salary of £55,000 plus overtime and a benefits package including healthcare, pension, and discounts. Based in West Bromwich, the PM shift runs Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 11 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical or Electrical maintenance.
• Food production industry experience is ideal.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors.
• General Mechanical work with the opportunity to upskill other areas of engineering.
• Planning maintenance work for the weekend shifts on Monday and Tuesday.
• Supporting machinery breakdowns as needed.

We are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers or Technicians to support primarily with Planned Maintenance but also including some Reactive Maintenance responsibilities.
