Job summary

Talent Solutions RPO is seeking a Maintenance Technician (MSERB) in Northwich, England. The role offers a salary of £55,000–£58,000 per year, overtime, and a benefits package, with shifts from 7 to 7 on a 4-on/4-off cycle, including days and nights.

The job focuses on planned maintenance with some reactive tasks within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical or electrical skills, experience in maintenance, and ideally NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical or electrical skills required.
• Experience in food production is ideal but not essential.
• Hands-on NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Fix rollers, small gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, inverter systems.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of plant machinery and site service equipment.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and respond to maintenance requests.
• Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce recurring failures.

We are a fast paced, market leading food manufacturer based in Northwich. We are looking for Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers or Technicians to support primarily with Planned Maintenance but also including some Reactive Maintenance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, inverter
• Carry out fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of plant machinery and site service equipment.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured problem-solving techniques to reduce recurring failures.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience and qualification within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance and will ideally have worked in the food production industry.
