Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated day shift maintenance team. You will be part of a structured department that keeps high quality equipment running in a clean, efficient plant environment.

This role offers a secure, stable working environment with genuine training and development opportunities. Location is commutable from Redditch and surrounding areas in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting plant machinery and production equipment.
• Formal mechanical qualifications, ideally with electrical appreciation.
• Experience in distribution, FMCG, manufacturing, process or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the plant.
• Support plant machinery and production equipment with a hands‑on approach.

Duties of a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with an established team carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities across the plant. This role requires hands‑on experience supporting plant machinery and production equipment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

As a maintenance technician you must hold formal mechanical qualifications (ideally with electrical appreciation) and proven experience of supporting relevant plant and equipment within a distribution, FMCG, manufacturing, process or production environment.

Location

Commutable from Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Hanbury, Lapworth, Redditch, Studley and Wythall.
