Job summary

Veolia Group, Seafield WwTW in Edinburgh, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver mechanical tasks supporting wastewater operations. You will perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on AVSE assets and ensure timely work-order completion.

Essential: Mechanical Apprenticeship, mechanical engineering qualifications, and a full driving licence; dual-skilled electrical exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
• Qualified in Mechanical engineering; dual skilled preferred.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical tasks on a planned and reactive basis for safe and efficient wastewater operation.
• Complete all planned preventative, planned corrective and reactive maintenance tasks across the AVSE project with accurate work orders and documentation.
• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support to senior maintenance and operations teams for capital work interventions.
• Assist site teams and support trouble-shooting and problem-solving for asset-related issues.
