Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance professional in Edinburgh to oversee planned, preventative and reactive maintenance. You will coordinate tasks, manage resources and ensure safety and compliance across assets and processes.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of wastewater systems, experience with CMMS, and a background in mechanical or electrical engineering. This role offers pension, training and health support benefits within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Health and Safety awareness/qualifications preferably to IOSH Managing Safely standards.
• Confined space awareness/qualification
• Competence in the issuing and use of all company permit to work systems
• Risk assessment and method statement training.
• Skills in running and maintaining Wastewater processes and assets or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of all areas, sites and processes within the contract scope.
• Practical knowledge of Google packages, experience of computerised maintenance management package(s).
• Experience in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise planned, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance through the CMMS.
• Coordinate work requests, schedules and available resources to ensure maintenance is delivered efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and data to support reporting, performance monitoring and process improvement.
• Ensure health, safety, statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including task coordination, risk assessments and Permit to Work systems.
• Support maintenance and operations teams by managing contractors, providing technical feedback and helping optimise assets and processes.
