Job summary

Kinetic plc in Horwich, England, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain high-volume PLC controlled production equipment and support installation of new lines.

You will plan preventative maintenance, implement improvements, and service electrical and mechanical site services. The role demands experience in manufacturing and a pro-active approach to reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualifications in Electrical Engineering to back up experience.
• Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Significant experience within manufacturing.
• Pro-actively identifies and suggests improvements based on preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance schedules.

Your role will include;

• Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high-volume PLC controlled production equipment.

Ideal candidates will have the following attributes;

• Proven experience on Repair, Maintenance and Process Improvement.
• Ideally experienced in maintenance and fault finding PLC controlled and robotic equipment.
• Experience of maintaining and fault finding hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Pro-actively identifies and suggests improvements based on findings of preventative maintenance and fault finding..
• Understanding or preventative maintenance schedules.
