Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Castle Donnington. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance across distribution sites, handling first-line maintenance and coordinating with specialists when needed.

You will perform repairs, complete PPMs and ensure compliance paperwork is up to date. The position offers a salary of £39,111.36 with a 5% SLA, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, and benefits including a pension and private

Qualifications

• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance across distribution sites.
• Electrical installation/maintenance qualifications required (NVQ/City & Guilds).
• AM2/2391 certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and perform repairs as needed.
• Prioritise maintenance to meet timescales and response targets.
• Deliver maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
• Follow purchase order process and report non-repairable faults with recommendations.

Maintenance Technician

Castle Donnington

£39,111.36 (salary including standby allowance) + 5% SLA

Permanent

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in Distribution sites in Castle Donnington

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM's. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Technician

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs
• Follow purchase order process.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times

Qualifications & Experience - Maintenance Technician

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.

• 3 phase electrics and its applications
• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves
