Job summary

Omega Resource Group seeks a Maintenance Technician in Enfield to perform planned and reactive maintenance across distribution sites. You will be the first line of contact for upkeep, with occasional specialist attendance if required, and ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is current.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City & Guilds 2382 18th edition qualification required.
• AM2/2391 accreditation and 3 phase electrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule on time with paperwork.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and carry out repairs as needed.
• Prioritise tasks to meet timescales and response targets.
• Deliver fire alarm system maintenance and emergency lighting tests.
• Follow purchase order processes and advise on replacements when needed.
• Ensure compliance documentation is kept up to date.

Maintenance Technician

Enfield

£39,111.36 (salary including standby allowance) + 11-15% LWA

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in Distribution sites in Enfield

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM’s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs
• Follow purchase order process.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times

Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Technician

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
• City and Guilds 2382 18th edition
• AM2/2391
• 3 phase electrics and its applications

• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves
