Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Enfield site. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across distribution facilities, acting as first-line contact for all site maintenance issues and coordinating specialist attendance when needed.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, ensure compliance paperwork is current, and support fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 in electrical installation/maintenance.
• AM2/2391 certification and City & Guilds 3rd edition knowledge.
• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on site.
• Respond to helpdesk calls and assess repair requirements.
• Complete compliance paperwork and update records.
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the site facilities.
• Ensure fire alarm and emergency lighting maintenance is performed on schedule.

Maintenance Technician

Enfield

£39,111.36 (salary including standby allowance) + 11-15% LWA

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technicianto join the team.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in Distribution sites in Enfield

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM's. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Technician

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs
• Follow purchase order process.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times

Qualifications & Experience - Maintenance Technician

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.

• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves
