Rubicon Recruitment Agency is helping a precision manufacturer recruit a Maintenance Technician to keep high-end machinery running smoothly. The role offers up to £35,000, with Monday to Friday hours and no regular callouts, plus scope to grow your electrical skills alongside your mechanical expertise.

You will perform planned preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities, respond to breakdowns, inspect machinery precisely, maintain building services, and keep accurate

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance background with basic electrical knowledge.
• City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with aerospace or precision engineering highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on specialist production equipment, plant and site facilities.
• Responding to breakdowns, fault finding and completing mechanical and basic electrical repairs.
• Inspecting machinery to a high level of precision, spotting wear before it causes downtime.
• Maintaining building services, including compressed air and electrical systems.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records, PPM documentation and work orders.
• Liaising with service engineers, suppliers and contractors, and managing spares and stock.

You'll join a small, skilled maintenance function at an established precision manufacturer that is expanding.
