Hiring Now: Contract Mechanical Technician - Waste-to-Energy

Are you a skilled Mechanical Technician looking for your next contract role?

We're hiring for a Waste-to-Energy facility in Bicester (OX27).

Rate: £££

Hours: 37.5 per week

Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30

One week in four: Backshift 12:00 - 20:30 + 24-hour callout (must be within 1-hour of site)

Duration: 5-month contract (unlikely to extend)

Inside IR35

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience in waste-to-energy or similar industries.
• Physically capable of working with heavy machinery - Large industrial equipment.

Responsibilities include working with a variety of mechanical systems, such as:

• Steam boilers
• Pumps and gearboxes
• Valves and hydraulic systems
• Pneumatic and compressed air systems
• Conveyors and cranes
• Turbines and associated components
