Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Llanarth Court in Abergavenny. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a salary of £26,300 per year. You will join a dedicated site support team to keep the hospital environment safe and well-maintained.

The post requires flexibility for on-call duties and a proactive approach to ensuring high standards across all areas. Vehicle access is recommended due to location.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a well-decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the site, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations.
• Complete on call duties
• Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all site areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
• Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the Maintenance Manager (and then actions as agreed) to ensure environmental conditions meet quality standards and statutory regulations.

Llanarth Court has an opportunity for a Registered Social Worker to join our team.

Llanarth Court is a specialist medium secure, low secure, and open rehabilitation psychiatric hospital. Located in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Llanarth Court offers convenient transport links and easy access to the A40 and A459. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
