Job summary

Priory Higfields has a part-time Maintenance Assistant role at Highfields, offering 20 hours per week at £13.45 per hour. You will maintain a safe, comfortable environment and assist with day-to-day maintenance, safety checks and site security.

Reporting to the Deputy Service Manager, you’ll work independently and as part of a team, carrying out repairs, reporting faults, and following health and safety procedures to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in general maintenance or similar role.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and checks across the site.
• Identify and report faults, damage and maintenance issues.
• Complete routine compliance and safety checks.
• Support site security through regular patrols.

Priory Higfields has an opportunity for a Maintenance Assitant to join our team.

Highfields, Chasetown, Staffordshire is a residential service supporting 8 adults with a range of needs. It is located in a suburban setting and is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes and nearby rail links into Lichfield and surrounding areas. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll be doing

We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Person to help maintain a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for colleagues, clients and visitors. Reporting to the Deputy Service Manager, you’ll support day-to-day maintenance, safety and security across the site.

In this role, you will:

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and checks across the site.
• Identify and report faults, damage and maintenance issues.
• Complete routine compliance and safety checks.
• Support site security through regular patrols.
• Record incidents and complete required checks on Nourish.
