Job description

We are currently assisting a leading organization in their search for a Maintenance Team-Leader (Electrically Trained).

This is an opportunity to join an established maintenance team within a company that has sites throughout the UK and overseas. The company emphasizes on-site training, development, and a positive working environment.

The Maintenance Team-Leader will support a team of 3 electrical engineers and 2 apprentices, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Shift requirements: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with early finish on Fridays.

The role is commutable from Bolton, Oldham, Stockport, and Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager
• Manage material control, ensuring parts, tools, and materials are available
• Support and resource project work
• Conduct inspections and audits, providing advice and feedback
• Ensure deadlines are met for plant maintenance
• Support engineers and contractors on plant issues
• Attend maintenance meetings as required

Experience required:

• Previous experience in a team leader or senior maintenance role
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments
• Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and email
• Apprentice trained with formal electrical engineering qualifications
