Maintenance Team Leader - Lead a Skilled Engineering Team


Location: Haverfordwest
Salary: £40-45,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days


We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Team Leader. This is a key role within the maintenance function, offering the opportunity to lead a committed team and drive operational efficiency across the site.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.




  • Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime.




  • Support fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.




  • Ensure the maintenance schedule is delivered effectively and efficiently.




  • Promote and uphold health and safety standards at all times.




  • Identify opportunities for improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.




  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and performance metrics.




Requirements:




  • Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or team leader role.




  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.




  • Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively under pressure.




  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.




  • Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent).




  • Experience in FMCG or Food Industry is but not essential.
