Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for our client, a leading manufacturer in Camberley. The role oversees maintenance across the site and leads a small team, focusing on preventative and reactive work, efficiency improvements, and KPI-driven performance.

The position offers a permanent, full-time schedule with early finishes on Fridays and standard hours Mon-Thu, plus Friday half-day. Salary ranges £38,500–£46,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and engineering within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Engineering qualifications or certifications desirable.
• Experience with maintenance KPIs and ERP/CMMS tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise preventative, reactive and improvement maintenance across the site.

• Lead and develop a team of three maintenance technicians with clear objectives.
• Manage performance, attendance, development and training of the team.

• Plan and prioritise preventative, reactive and improvement maintenance activities across the site.
• Own the PPM programme, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Lead and develop a team of three Maintenance Technicians, setting clear objectives and priorities.
• Manage performance, attendance, development and training.
• Build effective relationships with Production, Engineering, Facilities and Senior Management.
• Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and enhance maintenance processes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Maintenance and engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential
• Previous supervisory, Team Leader or people management experience
• Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications desirable
• Experience with maintenance KPIs and ERP/maintenance management systems desirable
