An industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join its Aylesbury operation.
This position has become available due to the planned retirement of a long-serving engineer within the business. To ensure a smooth transition, the successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive handover period, providing a unique opportunity to inherit extensive site knowledge while bringing fresh ideas and leadership to the department.
This is a pivotal role within the business. You'll effectively lead all engineering activities on site, driving reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement while managing a small team of multi-skilled engineers.
Importantly, this role is open to ambitious Senior Engineers or Team Leaders looking to take the next step in their career.
As Maintenance Manager, you'll take responsibility for the overall engineering function, ensuring equipment reliability, site safety and maintenance excellence.
Electrically qualified (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent)
Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and automation systems
Knowledge of PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment
Strong communication and leadership skills
