Job summary

Clarion Housing Group seeks a Maintenance Surveyor to cover Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas. You will oversee pre- and post-inspections and produce reports for repairs, voids and cyclical works, while engaging with customers and leaseholders.

You will plan repairs and construction to meet cost, time and quality KPIs, and conduct surveys to identify defects and risks. Diploma level qualification and RICS/CIOB membership are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
• Member of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB.
• Ability to travel across the region.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-inspection activities and reporting for responsive repairs, voids, and cyclical works.
• Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance and construction work to meet cost, time, and quality KPIs.

Job description

Location: Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell

Salary: £34,869 - £47,945 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager you'll be responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.

You'll plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards.

We'll look to you to undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks. You'll carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.

It is essential that you have a Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3 and are a member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB.
